Who We Are
Alufoq Foundation for Empowerment and Community Development
Alufoq is a leading Palestinian organization led by Palestinian women, working to empower Palestinian women and youth to achieve community progress in Palestine. Through our programs and initiatives, we seek to create a supportive environment that encourages active participation and opens new horizons for societal progress. We believe that change begins with empowering individuals, which is why we dedicate our efforts to supporting capabilities and providing opportunities to build a more just and prosperous society.
Alufoq for Empowerment and Community Development was born from an initiative presented to the Rotary Peace Fellowship, reflecting our commitment to promoting peace, justice and sustainable development in Palestine. Today, we stand as a beacon of hope, dedicated to empowering women and youth to become catalysts for positive change in their communities.
Our Mission
To support the rights and capabilities of Palestinian women and youth and promote their effective participation in all aspects of society, by promoting political participation and representation, conflict transformation and peacebuilding, economic development and financial independence, and the realization of civil, human and women’s rights.
